Moultrie County Habitat for Humanity raises funds, accepts grants and maintains partnerships.

• A generous land donation from Agri-Fab makes it possible for Habitat to offer a subdivision for Habitat homeowners.

• Moultrie County Habitat for Humanity is a recipient organization of the United Way.

• ReStore located on S Hamilton Street in Sullivan

• Whirpool donates a refrigerator and a range to each Habitat home.

• MasterBrand, in Arthur, donates cabinets for one home each year and donates cabinets to conduct additional auctions.

• The Habitat 500, is a cycling event held in Minnesota each summer to raise funds.

• Moultrie County Habitat For Humanity organizes pancake and spaghetti dinners to raise funds.

• In December, Moultrie County Habitat For Humanity prepares a mailing for contributions.

We seek cash donations, housing grants and in-kind gifts to help pay for our expenses. For us to build more than one house per year requires a designated grant (such as Thrivent Financial for Lutherans) or other extraordinary gifts or grants.
