Habitat ReStore to Add Hours in May
|
Moultrie County Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Sullivan will be open Tuesday through Friday 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday 8 am to noon during May.
ReStore is located on S. Hamilton in Sullivan across from Monical’s Pizza.
Restore accepts donations of anything except clothing and baby items from individuals, businesses and contractors, thus preventing those items from going to a landfill. Habitat is a 501c3 organization and a tax receipt will be issued upon request.
The public can purchase furniture, appliances, electronics, house wares, plumbing, electrical, antiques, construction materials and more at a greatly reduced price, usually at up to a 75% discount. All profits from ReStore will help build homes for God’s people in need. Habitat does not give away homes. Partner families provide 300 hours of sweat equity and are able to afford a small no interest mortgage. Habitat needs volunteers to staff ReStore. Volunteers can work anytime Tuesdays through Fridays 10 am to 5 pm. Our volunteers have lots of fun and come and go at any time. Volunteers receive 20% discount on any merchandise. Needed are cashiers, loaders, stockers, customer service and general help.
Because of expanded delivery and pick up service, ReStore is in need of a donated cargo trailer up to 16’ and a used pickup truck.
For more information, call 728-7386 and leave message.
